You can view a record of sent emails for this Invoice by clicking on the "Activity Log" link in the top right corner. Customize the subject line and body text and click "Send Now" when you are ready to send. The client is already prefilled in this field, but you can add additional recipients by clicking into the field and selecting more Contacts. Choose the recipients in the "To (Recipients)" field. In the "From (Sender)" field, if you want to change the sender, click in this field and select from the available options. When your customer clicks on this button in the email, it will open up a new browser tab and present them with an online credit card payment form. Optional: If you want your customer to pay the Invoice by credit card, click on the " Add 'Pay Now' Button to This Email?" dropdown and select your payment processor. Click ‘tools’ which is in the toolbar on the top of the page. Click on the "Email" button at the top. To create an invoice using the PayPal business website, you’ll need to take the following steps: Log in to your account. Find the Invoice that you wish to send and click on it. Click on "Invoices" in the main navigation bar. Use the Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Invoices" tool. Click on the "Invoices" tool button on the Event Dashboard. You also have the opportunity to customize the boilerplate email subject line and body text that is included in these emails keep the default message assigned in your account settings or personalize each email before it is sent out to the individual client. If you need this functionality please use the default email address. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you choose your personal/business email address to send Invoices you will not be able to track delivery, opens or clicks via the email activity log. You have the option to choose a connected email address or the address to send invoices from this tool.
With an EIPP platform, invoice notifications are sent via email, but the actual invoice data can be held securely online linked to from the email, SMS or other notification. In addition, if you have created an account with one of our preferred credit card processors, you can add a "Pay Now" button to the email so your customers can pay via credit card ASAP. Invoices can be delivered more securely when using dedicated invoicing software, such as an electronic invoicing presentment and payment (EIPP) platform. You can email Invoices to clients directly from inside Planning Pod to save time and streamline how you manage Invoices.
